Trent Alexander-Arnold is on course to be fit for Liverpool’s massive clash with Manchester City on April 10.

The right-back is recovering from a hamstring injury that ruled him out of action for England during the international break.

He is almost certain to miss the game against Watford at Anfield on Saturday and is unlikely to play Benfica in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final next Tuesday.

But the 23-year-old is in line to take on City in what is shaping up to be a monumental game in the title race on April 10.

Alexander-Arnold has started doing some light running on the training pitch but is still yet to join first-team training.

He missed Liverpool’s 1-0 FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest before the international break and jetted off to Dubai to aid the rehabilitation.
