BREAKING: Mason Greenwood is set to return to Manchester United training next week 😱

Multiple journalists have confirmed that Ma’son Greenwood has NOT returned to Manchester United training de’spite widespread rumors on Twitter.

Greenwood is currently on bail after being arre’sted earlier this year on suspicion of rape, sexual assault, making th’reats to kill and assault.

Greenwood has not featured for United since the’ir 1-0 win over West Ham on January 22 after being suspended from pla’ying or training with the club until further notice.

The 20-year-old was arrested on January 30 aft’er police officers responded to seeing an 18-year-old wo’man reporting claims of violence and sexual threats on social me’dia.

It was reported by British newspaper The S’un last week that Greenwood would likely “discover if he is to face rape charg’es in a matter of days”.

Seven days on, no such decision has been mad’e and the police investigation into allegations against Greenw’ood remain ongoing.

But Greenwood’s name trended on Twitter thro’ughout Friday after rumors went viral claiming that he had retu’rned to training with United.
